What you'll be learning
- We'll start with understanding clay as a material. Learn to prep the clay for building articles.
- Practice techniques such a Pinch method, Coil method and Slab work and learn throwing articles on the wheel.
- There'll be a session where we finish/cleaning the articles for them to be bisque fired and then lastly a Glazing session.

- 10kg stoneware clay
- Clay tools provided in the class
- Selection of glazes to finish the articles
Session Schedule
- Session 1 - Introduction to clay and Pinch method
- Session 2 - Coil method
- Session 3 - Slab method
- Sessions 4 to 8 - Practice on the wheel
- Session 9 - Finishing
- Session 10 - Glaze
There would be a gap of 7 days between session 9 and 10 so that the articles can be dried and bisque fired.
Fees
